Apple has always been at the forefront of mobile technology and continues to dominate the worldwide market. The iconic brand has a cult following even among trendsetters and millions of people are desperate to get their hands on the latest products from the technology giant.
The iPhone 5, with its fast processer and superior memory, is without a doubt the best mobile phone on the market. It is 18% slimmer and 20% lighter than the previous version and the larger screen size means you can tap into a world of social media and apps like never before. The camera has a whopping 8 megapixels and boasts a panorama view and the latest technology ensures that connecting to Wi-Fi has never been easier.
Apart from being technologically superior, iPhones are really easy to sell should you decide to upgrade. A few months ago, when I came to sell my iPhone, I obtained a really competitive price from a website specialising in second hand technology. The extra money I made ensured my iPhone 5 purchase made a smaller dent in my wallet!
Of course, there are the cool apps, which are one of my favourite features and the third reason why I always opt for an iPhone. For those new to the genre, apps are programmes which you can download in order to play games and do other cool stuff. Think of any subject you possibly can and there will no doubt be an app designed to appeal to fans of your chosen favourite.
Five years ago, apps barely existed and now there are well over 300,000 for the iPhone alone, including built in ones that come as part of the phone. Apart from these, I have built up quite a collection over the years and here are just a few of my favourites:
Angry Birds
Unless you have been living under a rock for the last few years, you will undoubtedly be familiar with Angry Birds. This addictive game where you get to fire birds and pigs using a slingshot is one of the most successful on the market and is fast building up a franchise of its own.
Cut the Rope
This inventive and addictive arcade game challenges you to increasingly complex puzzles in order to get a piece of candy in the mouth of a cute monster.
This app allows you to select a photo from your library, apply a visual effect and post it to a social media site. With Instagram, it is easy to get a professional result, without the need for Photoshop, ensuring this app stands out from the competition.
Netflix
I am a big fan of Netflix streaming and this app allows you to watch streamed content on your iPhone. Watching movies and TV episodes has never been easier!
The iPhone, with its ground breaking technology and super-fast processor, really does deliver something for everyone and offers a wealth of applications. From playing games, listening to music and watching movies to social networking, shopping and learning new skills, it delivers the goods.
