    History of Ayurveda

The Vedic era introduced yoga to us. Atharva Veda is the best source of knowledge to learn about the origin of Ayurveda. According to an ancient belief, Ayurveda is the concept of Hindu God ‘Brahma’. Ayurveda is supposed to be an eternal science which was created by Brahma. The evidence to this is mentioned in Mahabharata where Lord Vishnu is an incarnation of Brahma. The origin of Ayurveda belongs to approximately 5000 years ago.
