As an entrepreneur, I always operated from home because my little online bakery did not ask of me much. The only thing I had to invest in was my Spectrum package for the availability of the Internet. We all know her as the author of the famous Harry Potter series. But did you know that J.K. Rowling was not always a millionaire? The woman who now has a net worth of $850 Million, was once a single mother who relied on welfare for her living. However, at age 52, J.K. Rowling is now a prominent author of the most celebrated fiction franchises.
The fact that all of the Harry Potter novels have been translated into numerous other languages speaks volumes about the success of Rowling as an author. Not only this, but there are theme parks that were built revolving around the Harry Potter series.
Many people credit her for inspiring the young ones to ditch video games for a healthier option that is reading. As Rowling says:

Cher Wang
We often hear the name of a male as a co-founder when it comes to tech-based companies, However, Cher Wang, an influential woman, is the co-founder of HTC. Her net worth is $1.1 Billion. You may be familiar with HTC as a mobile-only brand. However, the history of the company goes back to 1997 when it began.
Today HTC is a prominent name when it comes to electronics. However, the HTC mobile remains a famous product offered by the company. And one that many people are familiar with. Now aged 59, Wang was already rich before she co-founded HTC. Because before setting this company, she was already manufacturing mobiles for other clients.
However, the success of HTC brought her the successful businesswoman tag and one that also made her a billionaire.
Susan Wojcicki
Many of us know that the idea of Google started in a garage. But little do we know that the garage belonged to Susan. She provided a space to Larry Page and Sergie Brin to work on their idea. Wojcicki was also the first marketing manager for the company in 1999.
As the marketing manager, Susan helped the company acquire YouTube in 2007 through the advertising revenue that Google earned. Currently, Susan is the CEO of the video-sharing platform that we call YouTube. This influential lady has a net worth of $410 Million.
Indra Nooyi
CEO of PepsiCo, the world’s second-largest food and drink company, the net worth of Indra Nooyi is $144 Million. Nooyi joined the organization back in 1994 and has worked up the ladder since then. Her hard work and dedication earned her the title of the CEO of the company.
Nooyi is a very learned person who holds multiple degrees- Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. She also has an MBA degree from an Indian university. Apart from that, she is also a Yale graduate who graduated with a Master’s degree in Public and Private Management.
Oprah Winfrey
The host of the Oprah Winfrey Show, Winfrey did not have an easy life. Her life is full of struggles that she started facing as a kid. But all the hardships only made Winfrey strong. Today, aged 64, Winfrey has a net worth of $3 Billion.
Not only is she a host of the famous talk show, but she also has to her name the titles of being an entrepreneur and a philanthropist. She earned the entrepreneur title when she formed Harpo productions that are a multimedia production enterprise. This was back in 1986. Following this, she also formed a TV channel that goes with the name of Oprah Winfrey Network in 2011.
She also founded a charity organization by the name of Oprah’s Angel Network in 1998. Winfrey is loved by the masses to an extent that talks revolving her being a possible U.S. presidential candidate in 2020 were making rounds as well. However, Winfrey denied any such interest.
