Things get more impressive when you open Duo. Microsoft runs a modified version of Android 10 here, treating the two displays as separate units unless otherwise instructed. Microsoft is driving this setup’s productivity potential, for example, Outlook Mobile on one side, Teams on the other, Slack on the right, and Edge on the left.
You can be setting up your Surface Duo with Microsoft, press the power button on the right side of your Surface Duo, select your language, and follow these steps:
1. Connect
When prompted, insert the SIM card to set up a mobile network connection to the operator’s network.
Then select your home Wi-Fi network (or another trusted network). When connected to Wi-Fi, updates will be confirmed during setup.
2. Start with a backup or start over
Select the Surface Duo setup method.
Android phone backup. Wirelessly copy data from your existing Android device to Surface Duo.
Backup from the cloud. Start with a backup of your current Android device saved in your Google account.
IPhone device. Use this if you have an iPhone and the Surface Duo is your first Android device.
Copy prohibited. Set up Surface Duo as a new device from scratch.
3. Log in to your Google and Microsoft accounts.
Log in to your Google account to access emails, photos, and files in Gmail, Google Photos, Google Drive, and more.
Sign in to your Microsoft account and use Microsoft 365 and Microsoft mobile apps such as Outlook, Office, OneNote, One Drive, Teams, and Microsoft Edge. Microsoft accounts usually end with @ outlook.com, @ live.com, or @ hotmail.com.
You can choose to log in to both accounts and only one of them. You decide. When you log in to each Account, you will have the opportunity to review our Terms of Service, change your system settings and select your privacy settings. This allows you to choose what works best for you and what you want to do with Surface Duo.
4. Add PIN and fingerprint
Add other personal and work accounts to use. On the home screen, tap Settings, then Account> Add Account.
Look at your photo. You can access your existing files and pictures from different locations on your Surface Duo, depending on the Account you’re signed in to.
Access files in the cloud. On the home screen, touch Google Folders and then Drive to access the files in Google Drive. Tap One Drive to access your Microsoft account documents and files.

Open File Explorer and go to one of the following folders: (32-bit)
C: \ Program Files \ Microsoft Office \ (your version of Office) (64-bit)
C: \ Program Files x86 \ Microsoft Office \ (your version of Office)
In this folder, find the file SCANPST.EXE, right-click it, and select Open.
Click the Browse icon to navigate to the folder that matches your operating system: (Windows Vista and later versions)
C: \ Users \ Users \ AppData \ Local \ Microsoft \ Outlook (Windows XP)
C: \ Documents and Settings \ Users \ Local Settings \ Application Data \ Microsoft \ Outlook
Note: Be sure to replace “user” with your Windows user name.
Select the Outlook.pst file and click OK.
Click the Start button to start the repair process. When you’re done, start Outlook again and see if the error still exists.
