Before making a final choice, ask the companies if the workers completing the job work directly with the company or if outside contractors are hired for the work. The last thing you need is to grow a relationship and trust with a company and have a contractor not associated with the company to complete your repair or replacement.
8. Will you match a lower bid from a reputable company? After collecting two or three bids and reviewing them, you may find you trust the higher-priced company more than the company with the lower bid. It costs nothing to ask the business you prefer working with if they’d consider matching the lesser of the two proposals.
