    A Detailed Guide to Set up & Sync Arlo Pro or Pro 2 Wire-Free Camera

    If you in search of a security camera that’s completely wireless in every way, Arlo Pro 2 or Arlo Pro is one to consider. In this post, we will provide you Arlo setup instructions for Arlo Pro 2 & Arlo Pro cameras with Arlo base stations, Arlo Pro base stations, & Arlo Pro 2 base stations, and.

    Note: If you synchronize Arlo Pro or Arlo Pro 2 cameras with an Arlo base station, you can still use the Arlo Pro or Arlo Pro 2 cameras’ features, including:

    • Rechargeable batteries.
    • 2-way audio.
    • AC power use.
    • Advanced motion detection.

    To set up and sync Arlo Pro or Arlo Pro 2 cameras, follow the instructions given below:

    Note: The Arlo camera must be synced one at a time.

    • Open the battery compartment of your Arlo camera by gently pressing the latch and pulling back.
    • Insert the battery and close the door carefully.
    • Bring Your Arlo camera within 1 to 3 feet (30 to 100 centimeters) range of the base station.

    Sync your Arlo camera to the base station:

    • Are using an Arlo base station? If yes, press the Sync button on the side panel of the base station for a couple of seconds and then release it.

    Note: If you push the Sync button on the Arlo base station for a long time, the light under the USB symbol blinks amber for 5-10 minutes continuously. On the off chance that the USB light blinks amber the sync process will be blocked.

    • And, if you are using an Arlo Pro 2 or Arlo Pro base station, push the button on the top panel of your base station for about 5-6 seconds and then release it.
    • Now, wait for the sync status LED to blink a solid green color.
    • Then, push the Sync button on the top panel of your camera for about 10-15 seconds.
    • Once done, release the button.
    • Afterward, a blue LED on your camera will blink rapidly to confirm that sync process is successfully completed.

    Note: In the event, the LED on the Arlo device continuously blinks amber, it means that the sync is not successfully done. You must repeat the sync process again. If you found this frustrating, then simply contact our technicians right away and ask for Arlo support

    • Also, for a successful Arlo camera setup, you must check the camera LED on your base station.
    • If the camera LED on your base station becomes solid green, the sync process is completed successfully.
    • Repeat the above-mentioned steps for each Arlo camera setup.

    Note: If you do not complete the sync process within 2-3 minutes, push the button on the top panel of the base station and try again later after some time.

    1. Update Arlo firmware to the latest version.
    2. Make sure that your camera is placed in reach of your base station.
    3. Also, ensure to have an uninterrupted WiFi connection for accessing Arlo Pro login page.
    4. An active internet connection is also crucial for setting up Arlo camera in a hassle-free way.
    5. Be certain to install the Arlo app
    6. Power cycle your Arlo Pro or Arlo Pro 2 camera, along with base station, modem or router (if had).
    7. The wall socket you have used to plug in your Arlo device shouldn’t be damaged.
