Alcatel has come up with another 4G smartphone dubbed Alcatel Idol 4. It seems like 4G has become the latest trend in India and every smartphone company want to leave no stone untouched when it comes about utilizing their hardware in wave of 4G network. It all started with Jio movement (which is now planning the launch of Jio Lyf Easy 4G Smartphone at an unbelievable cost of approx. Rs. 1000-1500). We will keep you update on same but for now let we focus on Alcatel Idol 4 smartphone. In the due course of this article, we will be sharing complete specifications, images and other relevant details about it.

Technical specifications of Alcatel Idol 4

It houses a 5.2 inch full HD screen that is coated with IPS LTPS display. It brings magic of Precod custom UI, Live UI and Parallax UI altogether in a single chip. 1920×1080 pixels full HD resolution ensures the working of all 3 UIs at a full-fledged mode. Android 6.0 Marshmallow with power of Octa Core Snapdragon processor chipset makes it a beast. This all is coupled up with a 3GB RAM compartment and Adreno 405 GPU configuration. Believe me it is going to be a beast at respective price range. Such specs are expected from high end smartphones only. If you are looking for a real powerful smartphone and medium range then this one is for you.

16 GB internal memory is given which can be expanded up to 512 GB through any normal microSD card. 13 MP rear and 8 MP front facing camera are given which comes with inbuilt features like dual tone LED flash, wide angle lens (84 degree), PDAF, EIS and f/2.0 aperture. It all makes it capable of clicking pics with decent quality.

Two SIM slots are given which can be used to hold nano+nano SIM card or Nano+microSD card. On the connectivity front, it comes with 4G LTE technology that is supported well with WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB OTG and Near Far Communication (NFC). As you can depict from the image, it comes with a very sleek body that measures 7.1 mm in thickness only. It weighs 135 g which is less than most of the other smartphones of respective range.

Dual stereo speakers with power amplifiers are ready to boost your music listening experience to next level. It comes with 2610 mAh battery having the Quick Charge 2.0 option to charge it in real quick time. Power wise it seems to be lagging from most of the smartphone but we should wait for the actual hours that this smartphone can last with these numbers. We will update you once we have those figures.

As of now Alcatel has launched Gold, Metal Silver and Dark Grey colored bodies of Idol 4. You can buy it from online stores at Rs. 16,999.
