    Professor of Petroleum Engineering in the McMan Chair at the University of Tulsa, Dr. J. J. Azar. Dr. Azar is a renowned drilling engineering educator, the author or coauthor of four textbooks, and has more than 60 articles in peer-reviewed technical journals.
