    • Keep it basic, especially if you’re just getting started. The best approach to get started with keto for beginners is to stick to a simple diet plan. Keep it simple, pick a protein, a low-carb veggie, and add fat. 
    • Avoid temptations. This is the most common culprit for the failure of every single diet which people have failed to follow. No matter how tempting it is you need to avoid tempting foods, just eating the things as per the diet is not enough. Be it your keto lunch or keto dinner, what are things you should be completely avoiding? Read below-mentioned subpoints:
    • Grains: pasta, bread, oats, cereal, and even corn.
    • Sugary foods: pastries, ice-creams, cakes, chocolate, and soda. 
    • Starchy vegetables: potatoes, sweet potatoes.
    • Low-fat dairy and milk
    • Processed low-carb food items
    • Stock your fridge with food associated with keto meals. Get rid of the tempting stuff and add these healthy keto diet food items:
    • Leafy greens are robust food items your health needs the most! As for starters, lettuce, kale, and spinach should be considered. 
    • Low carb vegetables like zucchini, cauliflower work fine. 
    • Fat is important, and it shouldn’t be missed out but only when it’s a healthy fat. 
    • For the non-veg lovers, beef and pork are your options here. 
    • More options? Consider adding chicken and turkey to the poultry section of your fridge
    • Seafood like fish and shellfish is allowed as well.
    • How can we forget eggs? 
    • Low-carb fruits will complete the vacant fruit basket in your fridge. Consider adding avocados,  raspberries, and coconut. 
    • Stock your pantry with healthy keto staple food items like:
    • Low carb items like hot sauce, and mustard. Already drooling? 
    • Combo of seeds and nuts can be kept as well. Sunflower seeds, almonds, macadamia, are best in this category. 
    • Low carb flours like coconut flour, flaxseed meal, and almond flour.
    • We didn’t forget you, our caffeine lovers! Consider adding coffee and tea as well.

    However, there are products you’ll see on shelves of grocery stores labeled as “keto diet” healthy food items. Don’t let it play tricks on your mind!     The last thing you need to learn is to be patient and consistent. These two factors are the foundation of your keto diet because anything that comes with patience and consistency is mostly 100% conquered already!
