Preparing for an MRI of the brain
Two days before the examination, a test for the tolerance of the contrast agent is carried out. If there is a deterioration in well-being or allergic manifestations, the procedure is contraindicated. Two hours before the examination, you should refuse food and water. Immediately before the MRI, it is necessary to remove jewelry, glasses, accessories. In some cases, patients are prescribed sedatives.
