One way to check SBI balance is through a toll-free number. SBI has introduced a toll-free number that customers can use to raise a balance enquiry, get a mini statement, for ATM card hot listing, and more.

SBI bank customers can call the following toll-free number to check their SBI account balance:

    1800 1234 or 1800 2100.

These numbers are toll-free, so callers will not be charged for the call. Also, the balance enquiry is free of cost.

SBI balance check via missed call

Another way of SBI balance check is through SBI missed call banking service. This particular service lets customers perform various banking operations by simply giving a missed call or sending an SMS to the bank.

The service is offered by SBI and includes balance enquiry, mini-statement, account E-statement of last 6 months, ATM configuration, ATM PIN generation, education loan certificate statement, home, car loan information, and related details social security schemes, home loan certificate statement, etc.

Check the missed call number for SBI to access accurate details. You may not get correct information if you use UCO bank balance check number to track balance detail.

Steps to check account balance through a missed call:

Step 1: Give a missed call on the SBI balance enquiry number 09223766666

Step 2: Wait for the call to connect

Step 3: After 2-3 rings, the call will disconnect

Subsequently, you will receive SBI account balance details via SMS on your registered mobile number.

In other words, customers must register their mobile number to use the missed call banking feature. Notably, the registration is a one-sided banking process and can be initiated in these easy steps:

    Step 1: Create a text: REG<SPACE>Account Number

Step 2: Send the SMS to 09223488888

Following this, SBI Bank will send a confirmation that the service has been activated for the account linked to the registered mobile number.

Customers can also opt for the SMS banking service to initiate the SBI balance check process. Here are the steps to do so:

Step 1: Go to SMS and write BAL

Step 2: Send the text to 09223766666

For SBI mini statement detail, customers can follow these steps:

Also, check the exact balance check number to avoid confusion. This is because each bank has a designated number for different services. Hence, dialing the UCO bank balance check number won’t help access the balance details of an account with SBI.

Did you know you can use your ATM card to raise a balance enquiry?

SBI account holders can use their ATM-cum-debit card to make a balance enquiry. Customers can go to an SBI ATM and follow these simple steps to access their account details.

Step 1: Swipe the SBI ATM/debit card

    Step 2: Enter a 4-digit PIN

    Step 3: Choose ‘Balance Enquiry’

Once the transaction is completed, the account details will be printed on a receipt and shared with the customer.

Individuals can also opt for the mini statement option available at the ATM and access details about the last 10 transactions.

SBI customers can check their account balance at other non-SBI or third-party ATM services. It must be noted that RBI has limited the total number of free transactions against each ATM card. Since balance enquiry is considered to be a transaction and will incur a fee once the free limit is exhausted.

Besides these popular ways, there are other methods of SBI balance check such as net banking, passbook service, SBI YONO, and many more. On that note, let us quickly look at some of these methods to check account balance.

SBI account holders who have activated net banking account can access SBI net banking services. Registered customers can use their net banking ID and password to log into the net banking account. Once logged in, customers can choose from a range of banking facilities, including a balance enquiry, mortgage loans, home loans, personal loans, fund transfers, and other account-related details.

SBI balance check with the help of a passbook

SBI Bank issues a passbook to all its customers when they first open an account.

The customers are responsible for keeping their account passbook up to date to ensure it contains the latest information on all transactions.

By doing so, they will find their current balance and check a record of debit and credit transactions made from their account.

Customers need to visit the SBI bank branch to update their account passbook. This method is still among the most preferred options for updating account details and checking account balances. Many customers are still not keen on using mobile banking or net banking services extended by SBI and are more comfortable with the offline method.

SBI balance check via SBI mobile banking

SBI customers can access SBI mobile banking services via a range of mobile apps offered by the bank. Some popular SBI mobile banking apps include SBI Anywhere, SBI Anywhere Saral, SBI Online, etc.

Here’s how customers can access these apps to check their account balance:

    1. SBI YONO

Step 1: Download the SBI YONO app from Apple or Google Play store

Step 2: Install and launch the app to avail the banking features

Step 3: Log in using your mobile banking credentials

Once logged in, customers can access several banking services, including SBI balance checks, SBI account statements, fund transfers, etc.

    1. SBI Online portal

Account holders can access SBI online portal on their smartphones to check details related to account balance, fund transfer, NEFT, IMPS, account statements, etc.
