Technology has come a long, long way in the recent future and one of the more impressive breakthroughs is providing us with artificial intelligence. Most of know Siri or Google Assistant programmed into our phones to make it easier to go about our day with less of a hassle. They are known as Digital Personal Assistants (DPAs) and if you weren’t aware of them before well here are a few points as to how they can help you with numerous menial tasks you normally handle by yourself.
Phone Calls
If you’re someone who has a very hectic life and you could really use the minutes that take you to scroll down through your contact list to find the person you need to call, then a Digital Personal Assistant is just right for you. You can get them to place a call to the required person with simply a press of a button and their name. They’ll immediately dial the number for you and even connect it to a Google home speaker if you wish. You can entirely forget about the hassle of scrolling through your contacts.
Reminders
This is one of my favourite examples of having an assistant. I tend to be very forgetful and I tend to forget to set myself a reminder, much less attend the appointments in the first place. It’s so much easier to simply speak to your phone and ask your DPA to set a reminder for you let it be an appointment, health target or a party. All you need to do is ask your assistant to set you a reminder and they’ll do it for you.
Texting
Personally not being a huge fan of texting, I was quite relieved when DPAs were programmed to be able to relate a text to anyone I needed them to. Gone are the days you twisted your thumbs typing long messages. All you need to do is pull up your Digital Personal Assistant and ask them to send a text to a specific person. Once they’ve located the person in your contact list, they’ll ask you to relate the message for them and it’s all done and dusted within seconds.
Web Searches
There’s really no end to the uses of having a DPA. Is today a day you need to find a hundred pictures of golden retriever puppies or is today a day you need to do thorough research on the second world war? Or do you need to find out where you can buy the latest edition of your favourite book? Whatever it is, you can simply have it done with a simple voice command. Your DPA will perform the same function you will, but easier and faster. Open multiple tabs, conduct research in minutes. Have fun!

There are many victories technology has come up with but providing us with DPAs is definitely one of the best ones. They make everyday tasks that much more tolerable.
