The tingling red noses, pocket full of nuts and the bone-shattering cold! Yes well, I love the cold winters and probably the reason why visiting Toronto was the first thing in my mind.
Canada has always opened arms to immigrants and tourists alike. Undoubtedly people love to visit here as well. The rookie in you will let you book the transfer services and roam the streets and new destinations. There’s a lot one can do in winter despite the cold and snow. So if you are a brave soul like myself, you can indulge in the number of activities.

1. One, two, three, lets skate!
Those who love to skate, this is the perfect moment to take a slight chance on your padded knees and buttocks and enter the Bentway Trail from Strachan Avenue to Bathurst Street! The Fred Gardner Expressway is the perfect spot for ample skating experience in winter months. I found it quite convenient to visit it by getting on GTA airport limo because of the crowd. It is fun to skate out in the open but once your nose starts getting numb? Not so much. And so when it happened I moved to the

2. Next Stop Holiday Market
It is exactly what it sounds like. Just like a pop-up tart, you can bedazzle yourself by buying holiday decorations. Christmas is hardly a month away and well massive decorations are in order. With the sun playing hide and seek early in the evening, the lights illuminate the market, making it resemble a festive occasion. Well festivities, no doubt, are near!
Christmas and New Year’s is just at the bend it seems. Once the light lit up, you will get to scream like a Mad Max on the annual concert with fireworks as the cherry on the top. 3. Is it Icefest yet? Yes, it is!

I only got to hear about it as the chauffer of GTA Airport Limo got me talking to how I was loving every place.
And he just plainly asked me “did you visit the Icefest?”
And I was like, “what is an Icefest?”
To my surprise, he turned just around to the Village of Yorkville Park. Defiantly worth the trip it was! It was like I had entered Disney land of Frozen! Ice sculptures over 70,000 lbs. of crystal clear ice were glittering everywhere! Truly mind-blowing ice sculptures covered every inch by far this was my favorite place I came to visit in Toronto.
4. It’s Hockey Time!
To those who are not aware of the fact, Canadians love HOCKEY! While I was raised in suburbs I did come to discover my love for sports but I was more of a wanderer but once a while a good game can be enjoyed right? If you get to visit Toronto then it’s a crime to not visit Hockey Hall of Fame. What’s the holiday to Toronto without watching the Toronto Maple Leafs Play? You can get to visit it at the base of CN Tower.
But Toronto has not forgotten winter wasteland after all. Unlike Serbia, a lot is going on but only if you have the guts to leave your warm toasty bed and get to enjoy outdoors in the chilling winters!
Despite the cold itself, Toronto remains a culturally enthusiastic city with wide and warm open arms. So what are you waiting for now?
