But, given the stiff market competition and the candidate-driven market, it becomes necessary to use new ways and devise new strategies to hire talent.     • Start focusing on skills and qualities than experience or degree-
      When a role in technical it is easier for the company to analyse the candidate on the basis of skills. But, for the other profiles, there is a scope of improvement. For instance, when you want to hire personnel for a certain position, you should put skills in the keywords and not the degree when you use HR software in India. 
    • Choose candidates from diverse walks of life-
      Don’t restrict yourself to hiring experienced people or freshers. Try hiring a freelancer who will be full of initiation and go-getter skills. Apart from that, people who took a break from work should also be given a chance, they bring a fresh perspective. People who switch industries are the ones who are keen to learn and grow a lot. Besides, an overqualified person can be a great resource for sure full of knowledge and ideas for you.
    • Rework your training approach –
      Whether an employee is new or working for a long time, the new technology can come up at any time and all of them should be trained accordingly. When a learning culture will be fostered in the organisation for all, the company will be able to become more productive and the employee job satisfaction will also surely increase. You can even buy an online course for them. This will help you retain the employees on the basis of skills. 

    Lastly, if you want to see improved retention, bring greater diversity and make your company more inclusive while reducing the hiring costs as well; you should exchange the word with experience with skill.
