The Huawei Watch GT pretty much takes its basic design from the Huawei Watch 2 but the Watch GT’s design is definitely more elegant and appealing to the eye. Unlike the Watch 2 that runs on the wear OS 2.0, the Watch GT runs on Huawei’s new operating system that they are calling the “lite OS”. The OS pretty much looks good and works fine without any strain but that is probably because the Watch GT doesn’t support any third-party applications. The watch GT is also available in the US, there are two versions of the watch GT released by the company namely the Watch GT sports variant and the Watch GT classic Variant both of these variants have a different price. The sports variant costs about $199 while the classic variant costs about $230 but is the watch GT worth buying? Here’s our full review for Huawei’s Watch GT.
Design and Build Quality
The watch looks very elegant and appealing, it also feels really premium in hand. The front is nothing but screen with a non-rotating bezel that makes it look like a chronograph watch, the watch also has a stainless-steel frame which is just one of the best things about its design. The watch is also very thin and measures about 10.6 mm in terms of thickness, it isn’t the lightest watch around but weighing at about 46 grams it is definitely lighter than the Watch 2 or Samsung’s gear s3. The screen is a 1.39 inches AMOLED panel with a resolution of about 454 x 454 pixels. The screen gets enough bright and is visible outdoors. On the right side of the watch are the two physical buttons that are used for navigation while the left is empty and has nothing. The back of the watch is where the heart rate sensor and the charging pins reside. You can get great discount on electronic devices online using FlipKart Coupon Code.
The watch looks really awesome and feels really comfortable on hand as well. All-in-all, the software of the Huawei Watch GT might not be the watch’s best suit but the design definitely is. The watch can be bought with many different types of straps. The colors of the straps basically include a graphite black, saddle brown, glacier grey, and fluorescent green.Out of the watch’s two variants, the classic one is definitely the one that has been in talks. The straps are also easily detachable and feel really comfortable.
Performance and Specifications
The watch doesn’t have the best specifications but even with low specs the software of the watch still doesn’t show any signs of lag and runs very smoothly. The watch is powered by a tiny 16 MB RAM and has a really small storage of about 128 MB but the small storage and RAM makes sense since there is no option for installing third-party apps. The watch runs on Huawei’s lite OS, most of the features of the watch are fitness oriented. There is no microphone or speaker available in the watch and hence you cannot answer or listen to any calls. The touches and swipes on the screen are really smooth, the screen feels a lot responsive and snappy as well. The physical buttons are also quite responsive and give out nice feedback. The OS is also easy to use, there are a number of watch faces available for your watch but those watch faces are the only watch faces you will ever get to use.
Features and Battery Life
The Watch GT packs quite a lot of features, the watch basically has every feature that a fitness tracker should have. The heart rate sensor on the watch can measure the real-time heart rate until the battery runs out. The watch also packs other fitness-oriented features like a GPS that could be used to monitor your daily runs there are other features as well for instance a barometer and the fact that the watch is water resistant up to 50m meaning that you can wear the watch while swimming or even while taking a shower. The watch does not support wireless charging of any sort. For charging purposes, a small charging dock comes with the watch. Moreover if you are looking for Union Bank of India recruitment then it could be the best chance to try it.
The battery life on the Huawei Watch GT is just phenomenal. If we listen to the claims Huawei has made the watch can run up to two weeks after a full charge with the heart rate sensor turned on 24/7. The watch has a massive 420 mAh Li-Ion battery that allows it to go as far as it goes. The battery life on the watch GT is definitely better than what we have seen on other watches.
Verdict
The Huawei Watch GT is one real deal if you’re someone who’s looking for a smartwatch that is fitness oriented, has an elegant and appealing look and packs a gigantic battery life. However, ifyou are someone who wants to receive calls on your smartwatch or wants to install third-party applications there are a lot of other watches available in the market which does all of that and are available at a considerable price
